1983/84 Fender Precision - Sienna Burst **SOLD**

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

I bought this bass exactly a year ago from baba and have LOVED it. It's a beautiful bass, and plays like butter. OHSC is in fantastic condition. I've taken really good care of her for the past year. Currently strung w/ Flats, but I don't know what brand! All original - passive pickups, a Fullerton, CA build.

Weight: on my wifes digital bathroom scale I'm exactly 9 lbs heavier holding the bass.
Width: 1.75" nut width. C shaped neck like a '62 - wide, but thin front to back - it's awesome.

$1299 $1199 (firm) shipped to your door (CONUS).

UPDATE: Possible trades are an AVRI '62 Jazz or a Ric 4001.

Sound clip to demonstrate tone & lack of fret buzz/dead spots: (direct to Garageband with zero effects or amp simulations)

I'm really interested in this one.
Would you ship internationally if I took care of costs? I'm currently abroad at the moment, but I'll be back in Australia on the 15th, so I can't take care of payment until then.

Cheers,
Charlie

Wow, you can see I don't post very often, but this is the most beautiful P I have ever seen.
I wish I had the funds on hand. That really is a spectacular looking (and I'm sure playing) instrument.

Can you tell me a bit more? US or Japan? Active or passive? There were a lot of crazy things going on at Fender at that time. Thanks.

LAST CHANCE - pulling down the listing this weekend, I think I figured out a way to keep her.

Also now may be willing to trade for an AVRI Jazz or a Ric 4001.
