| 1983 Fender Precision Special w/mods

I have a 1983 Fender precision Special that I bought new back in the early 80's.
It has been modified quite a bit. I have added the Fathead brass plate, routed for a Fender American Deluxe double J-pickup set, took the old preamp out (it's routed so another will easily fit in and has a battery slot on the back .... the original preamp was quite terrible. It was more or less a glorified trbele/bass boost and just had to go).
It has aged very nicely and is pretty heavy ... I'd say around 10 lbs. It's a really nice 26 year old bass for sure!!!
The neck plays really nice and has not had any issues at all. It's one of the nicest P-Bass necks I've ever played.
There is a patch that you can see on the back where I was having an Alembic set of pickups installed the the tech drilled a bit too deep. It's filled in and only has the discolor.
The neck, body, machines, pickguard (with some solder marks) and brigde are all original. Only the pickups, pots, fathead brass plate and the removal of the old preamp have been changed.
I have a gig bag for it too.
