Well, I never thought I'd sell this one, but my recent additions of a Sadowsky and Lakland mean that I need to move one more bass both for room and funds. In fact, this was the one bass I took with me when evacuating from Katrina b/c I knew it was not easily replaceable.
1983 Spector NS2
Serial #673
Built at original Brooklyn factory
Original Hazlab Pre
Badass Bridge (this one predates the Spector bridge)
Original Hardshell Case
It is essentially all original except that a previous owner sanded down the back of the neck to no finish. The neck is a little thinner than my other Spectors as a result. There are also two holes on the front where a thumb rest was at some point. All the other wear is from good old use, it is a "real relic" so to speak.
In regards to the Victor Wooten signature, I was told it was authentic by the Bass Palace. However, I have no documentation and am not placing any value on it. The story was he used it at a clinic when his Fodera went out. It is also signed on the back by "Dawn". Not sure if she was an owner, girlfriend, groupie, bass grafitti artist, etc. : )
