Relisting this at a lower price

1983 USA Spector NS2

Serial #645 - this is a confirmed Brooklyn Era bass.

Plays and sounds great - no issues and no mods

9v Hazlab preamp

Some cosmetic blemishes and small chips (normal wear).

Original HSC is pretty beat, but functional.

$1850 Shipped SOLD (CONUS) Firm on this price - this is a nice deal IMO

SORRY, NO TRADES ON THIS ONE

Thumbs up Killer bass

I love it. Brooklyn Spectors are rare, but dot necks are...well, really rare.

I had a dot neck SN #694. If only it was a fiver, I'd still have it. Sigh....

Great bass Greg. I own #611 and #686, these are truly killer instruments. At this price it's a steal. Good luck with the sale.

wow, dot neck - super rare! I would think this one would be worth much more than your asking price.
for what it's worth, I have a brooklyn NS-2J bolt on that is the most amazing sounding bass I've owned, I'm sure no one would be disappointed with this! best studio basses ever.

No thanks on the trade offer (s).

I really love this bass and am fine keeping it.

I simply do not play it often so if someone wants it for a nice price then here it is .

Cheers,

Greg

For this vintage USA NS2, the serial # is stamped into the wood on the back of the headstock...see mine below.

I believe that the Spector Website has a section regarding serial numbers and various features of Spector basses found through the years.

Also, the guys in the Spector Club here are very helpful so you may want to post a question or two in the thread.
