-SOLD!-
The good: 1984 Fullerton 62 reissue stack knob V015xxx, sunburst, original tweed case, Fullerton owners manual, both chrome covers and mutes all still present.
So I've had this Jazz for many years. It's wonderful, powerful tone, and has the famous generous body and neck feel that the 82-84 Fullerton RI basses were known for. The finish is weather checked heavily front and back, with lots of dings and forearm and buckle wear spots. It's all there, no mods. Looks like a real 60's bass!
The bad: the neck suffered a nasty whack that put a 1" crack on the backside 10th fret area of the maple. It was glued and stable. The fretboard also had developed the infamous slight ski-ramp beyond the 14th fret. The frets were levelled some to make it totally playable and get the buzzing out with medium action, but the repaired crack kept me from spending anymore money on a neck with no collector value. Truss is perfect. It's a shame because this bass was my main player for quite a few years, but I still take it to rehersals.
So I was at a crossroads of either parting it out, or selling it complete so someone has everything together. So here I am considering this a complete Fullerton parts, with a fully functioning free neck! So asking $975 shipped in the US.
