| 1984-85 Fender Precision Bass I have a 1984-85 Fender P bass that I have owned since the summer of 1985. My parents bought it for me for my birthday and I have owned it ever since. Its a E series made in Japan P bass. Its in great shape but has typical small dings in the neck, nothing major. It is not 100% original I added a BA II bridge sometime in the 90's and I replaced the pickguard with a genuine Fender Pearloid one. It has CTS pots, a NOS Jenson PIO cap, and all vintage pushback wiring. I have the original pickguard with the original pots and cap still mounted on it. The fretboard is very dark in color and very tight grained. The bass plays fantastic and the neck has the width of a standard P bass but with a slimmer profile, this is as compared to my other P basses. I have the original square Fender HSC with it but its seen better days. The bass sounds fantastic and would make a great bass in someones arsenal.
I would like to get 650.00
but would consider trades: I would consider a Ric 4003, EB MM type bass with maple board, G&L ASAT maple board, G&L L2000 or L1000 non tribute or possibly a Spector Euro. I will of course pay the difference. Possibly a Peavey t40 and cash on your end
