1984 Aria Pro II RSB Special w/ OHSC
S O L D for $185.00 plus UPS shipping w/ Receiver Signature Required -- PayPal and CONUS only
Made in Japan's Matsumoku production plant around 1984.
Serial #40915xx
Specifications, to the best of my knowledge:
body: alder (appears to be single-piece)
neck: replaceable, maple neck "Original Smooth Joint" "accurate bolt on system"
fingerboard: rosewood with 22 frets
scale: 33.86" (860mm) (long scale)
pickup: single "1 MB IV double-coil pickup" (passive)
controls: 1 vol, 1 tone
bridge/tailpiece: die-cast
tuning machines: die-cast machine heads
nut: "super narrow, bone" (the nut is black--doesn't look like bone to me)
hardware: chrome
finish: two-color sunburst, black / light gold stain
Weight: approx. 8 lbs
Condition is very good. My wife bought this bass new in the eighties, then lost interest in the instrument.
Except for the rare occasions it was played, this bass has been stored in its ohsc in climate-controlled homes--never
in garages, attics, basements, etc. which is why there's no corrosion on the chrome hardware.
Very few and slight, shallow nicks and dings. Frets are in great shape. E-string tuner seems a little stiffer than
the other three, but is completely operational. Truss rod works fine. Volume and Tone pots operate without
any scratching or pops.
Now setup with brand new D'Adarrio ENR71 half-rounds. .045 .065 .080 .100
Neck relief and string height set to Fender bass specs (from the Fender website) and does not buzz.

PayPal only, please, and shipping only to the contiguous 48 United States.
We are selling this bass toward the purchase of a digital piano for the family. Since I have zero feedback for buying and selling here on TalkBass, let me know how I might reassure you of my integrity. In the past few months, I've sold my '70 Bassman head, my '80 Ibanez Roadster RS-824 bass,
and bought an '03 Highway 1 Precision, all on eBay, so I'm familiar with the basic in's and out's of buying, selling
and shipping these items securely and to mutual satisfaction.
I will be packing this Aria Pro II RSB bass bubblewrapped within its original hardshell case, inside a shipping carton with ample packing materials.
Shipping carton dimentions: 53" tall, 28 1/2" wide, 8" deep
Within three days of payment confirmation, your bass will be shipped UPS Ground with Signature Required, to your confirmed PayPal address (only).
