MIJ. Serial G037890. Similar to the Special Duff McKagan played with Guns&Roses but fretless. I modified the body cavity & the paint job is hideous but the best part of this bass is the neck. It's in beat up condition but plays wonderfully. The back is sanded & marked with ink. There is some paint by the heel but can be removed. This bass is not pretty but plays like charm. The neck is very lady like.
Scrap it for parts & you'll have a great fretless neck, original Fender tuners, Wilkinson bridge, Armstrong New Jersey vintage style bridge pup, & a Fender Japan volume pot. Or keep it as it is--a unique fretless. Definitely needs a paint job.
This is the bass I spoke of in another thread, that my father gave to me before he passed away. It's been with me for a long time through rough times & great memories. I'm an ass-hat for selling it & it's the only thing I have from him, but I'll live through this.
$350 or make an offer or trade for proper film/DSLR photo gear. If this bass was all original, street value would be double that, mas o menos.
