1987 Gibson Bass V

Sign in to disble this ad
Looking to fund a small GAS eruption.
Pearly White '87 Gibson Bass V, aged to a creamy antique white. Low action, very easy to play. TB pickups, great tone.
Lightweight. Aftermarket preamp with added PU selector micro switch. Crappy chipboard case will help protect it on it's journey to you, although it already has a few dings and nicks.

$525 shipped in the continental USA.
Not interested in trades at this time.
Thanks for Looking,
Jim B

Gah! If only this were a 4 string!

Bump for an under-appreciated bass.

I'm going to try to sell this one again since I've been on a bit of a shopping spree lately, and the wife is joining in.

Sounds like a T-Bird, but balanced with upper fret access bump.

Is this bass still seeking a new residence Jim? I've been looking for a Tbird Studio V...maybe this would fit the bill.

Yes it is. It has a great tone and is very playable, I just can't hack switching back & forth from 5s to 4s. Certainly much cheaper than a TB studio.
