1987 Peavey Foundation S $260.00 OBO

Sign in to disble this ad
1987 Peavey Foundation S. Passive P & J Schaller pickups. Good quality pots and wiring, great RW board, and maple neck. Has some nicks and scuffs, I shall not try to gloss over that fact. A great American made bass that totally nails a good P bass sound and makes a darn nice J bass tone as well.
Has had threaded metal inserts put into heel of neck and uses machine bolts to attach to body. Super tight joint.
Asking $260.00 plus shipping or best offer

No case but will ship super well packed.

Pics up later.

Without even seeing these photos I can tell you whoever buys this bass is getting one heck of a deal. These 1980's Peaveys are legendary basses, IMO. WAYYY better feel than a Fender, yet nails the tone - Oh... For a Fender of the same year prepare to spend 5 times as much for a bass that feels very clunky !!

Peavey basses are the way ! (yes I love them !)

Thanks for your bumpage and input!

It's a great bass, but the house needs a roof. Color me sad.

Bump for a great bass at a good price. These older USA Peaveys are a great investment too.

GM2..

If you like the feel of your foundation.. and ever wanted to mod one... P/J pickups drop right in an S..

It's silly a few years ago, I was buying these things at garage sales for $25.. I now can't get a contour case for this budget.
