yep, back when they were all hand made!
Asking $1399.00 OR your trade plus cash ( I need at least $800.00 on the cash end), sorry but unemployment stinks and I need money
The Good:
its a '87 Thumb in a killer color
Neck is good
Frets are good
plays great and killer tone
original Rockbag included

The indifferent:
Electronics were replaced the Status Graphite ( my guess is in '87 is very growly)
I think the paint was done at that time too (professional job, looks great)

The Bad:
side marker LEDS are not functioning (I've only checked the battery, my guess is a short the could easily be chased down and repaired)

Yep, I remember that bass being posted here long ago. Very nice, wish I had the money for it!

Wow! I remember seeing that bass a long time ago, it was GAS-inducing, and still is!

I'd recommend posting this at forum.warwick.de as well, your price is very attractive (and so is the bass), and you would get it sold there a LOT faster !

Did this ever have (or currently have) any truss rod issues? I remember a late 80s Thumb years ago in aqua that needed the truss rod replaced.

I don't know if it ever did. The previous owner (after Chris Atar) had a lack of knowledge about trustrod adjustment on older Warwicks. However, trustrod is functioning fine, according to myself and the Atlanta Bass Gallery..... adjust great.
