I have a 1988 Rickenbacker 4001 V63 for sale.
It is an early example with all the correct vintage features, and being 23 years old, it has aged to a beautiful amber patina, and has taken on the nice vintage look.
I got this a while back, it is in great condition with very little wear, nothing you can really notice, a scratch here and there, that’s about it.
It does however have a pro neck crack repair on the back of the neck that stretches from about the 7th fret to the 13th fret, and in no way affects the tone, playability or setup of the bass, the crack goes length-wise and was professionally repaired before I became the owner. If you’re not looking for it, you wouldn’t even notice it, and you can’t feel it.
The strap buttons are not original to the bass, and it has a replacement pick guard made by Tony D. at Pickguardan. It comes shipped in its original vintage reissue silver case.
It is not a pristine case queen, but a good solid 8 out of 10, and one hell of a player. Don’t miss your chance to pick up one of Rickenbacker’s best.
Out of some 10 or 15 Rick basses I've had in the past few years, this one is the pick of the litter. $1900.00 Shipped within the USA.
Drop me a line if your interested.
