When did he stop? Edit: I just checked his site, and he did stop for a few years around the turn of the century.

Not that he stopped but he modernized the design with an updated bridge and started calling them Neptunes

I've played this model Jerry Jones. Definitely an improvement in playability and sound over the original, which I owned (my first bass) in 1961.
