This is a somewhat rare Modulus. Most of their PJs were Fender-shaped Bassstar series. Overall it's in very good shape with a few dings and scratches here and there. There is an approx 3/4" circular mark on the front of the body above the 22nd fret (see pic) I have a b&w enameled “Yin Yang” button over it. ("Yin Yang" is the bass' name
This bass sounds and feels fantastic. The neck is in great shape and it's perfectly straight. Like all of the original Moduluses, this one does not have a truss rod. For many years Modulus basses had no truss rods and very few had any neck issues. This one shows no sign of warp, bow or twist after 25 years. The nut is 1 5/8" like a P bass, but the neck has a thin profile, more like a Jazz. The nut is brass. The dots on the fretboard and the top of the neck are mother of pearl. Pots and input are quiet. Versatile range of different tones with the active P/J pickups, blender control, and EQ. Comes with a non-original hardshell case. $850
