This is a really sweet bass that doesn't get the attention it deserves. Aria basses are very underrated and offer a great deal of quality for not big coin. This is also an inexpensive way to test-drive a hollowbody and/or medium scale bass to see if it works for you.
The basics:
20 frets.
32" scale.
2 volume, 2 tone.
1 swich.
2 mini humbuckers.
Semi hollow body with central block
Mahogany body.
Rosewood fretboard.
Sunburst finish
Just a nice, easy player that is very versatile. The humbuckers are great sounding; I can switch from the jaco-ish punch in the bridge to some deep vintage thunder in the neck position--set the switch to both humbuckers and you've got yourself a really deep, yet articulate sound.
Chipboard case is included, as well.
The only issue, and one that is purely cosmetic, is that I moved the strapbutton to the back of the neck heel and after doing so, I discovered that my Schaller buttons and straps couldnt fit in the tight space so I had to drill a second hole. Sometimes, I'm an idjit; just ask my wife.
I am asking $230 + shipping.
I apologize for the quality of the photos taken from my cell phone. If you'd like better photos, please let me know and I'll bring my camera to work with me on Monday.
Thanks!
