This bass is certainly not physically perfect BUT the electronics, sound and intonation are fantastic, with no crackles or other noise.
I purchased it from a drummer who wanted to try bass, and had it in the case for many years. He wasn't able to tell me anything about it. (hmph, drummers...

)
The sound is huge, and kind of woody, but you can get aggressive and modern with the mid-boost. I actually really like the sound of this bass, none of my other Jazz basses sound like this.
The bass looks all original, I had to replace a missing string tree. The strings are very old, no idea what brand they are. I bought this late summer of 2011 and have not had the time to do any work on it, so you will be getting in in the same condition that I received it in, only cleaner.
I have attempted to photograph the worst of the cosmetic issues, the most painful one being the repaired (not by me!) crack at the base of the headstock. The repair is solid, nothing is moving and it doesn't effect the sound. The electronics compartment cover is the most ill fitting thing I have ever seen, but it does its job.
The knobs really need a proper cleaning.
I appreciate your interest. Please PM me.
Again NO TRADES PLEASE.
Thank you,
Mark
