I can't believe I'm doing this but I have some things that are more pressing. If this doesn't sell for what I'm asking it won't sell at all.
This is for sale only no trades.
The bass is in great condition but not mint there is a lame scratch by the bridge, some small nicks/dings and the the finish around the set-neck is a little cracked. I tried to get pics of everything.
It's strung with flats and the fretboard has recently been releved.
If you're not familiar with these early versions there is three single coil pickups and one dummy coil so reduce hum. So basically you can play one single coil with no buzz.
It weighs 8.6 Lbs on my digital scale.
The body is one piece mahogany.
The neck is quater sawn maple with an eony fretboard.
When I got the bass it didn't have case but I contacted PRS and got an original style case from them.
I've spoken with people at PRS and they claim there was only about 500 basses made in the late '80's early '90's and very few of them were fretless. So this is very rare. The vintage PRS guitar market is going crazy and I assume the basses will soon follow. $1100 shipped to lower 48
