Ok, so I need to sell one of my MIA Jazz, so unfortunately this beauty is now up on the market. I am looking for $900, certified check/money order preferred. I will ship ground anywhere in the lower 48. If you are willing to pay for a shipping method other then ground, or want insurance, we can work that out as well.
This is a gorgeous 1993 MIA Jazz Bass. She is all original, no mods at all. 1993 was the last year Fender made this unique and beautiful piece.
1993, Made in USA, "Last Year of Production" Vintage Fender "Boner" Jazz Bass in the highly desirable Sunburst w/White Pickguard. This body style is also sometimes called the "longhorn bass", or "boner bass". As to why the name: it has 22 Frets, an Extended Upper Bout and Deeper Lower Cutaway making for a very Sexy look! These were only made for a short run and are becoming more and more prized by collectors. Known for its more distinct modern body. The body as you may notice is a bit askew. This is Fender's "Moderne". Another great feature which adds to its desirability is the TBX tone control which doesn't just cut away highs like a standard tone control, it actually boosts high and boosts lows depending on which way it is turned from its center detent. Comes with SKB Hard-Shell molded case in near perfect condition with key.
The pic attached was taken two days ago. As you can very clearly see, it is in excellent condition for it's age...or for that matter, for ANY age!
Nothing and I mean nothing beats a USA Jazz for backing up a song or cutting through the mix. There are very few of these in the world. Plays and Sounds Perfect. The neck is perfect, straight, fast and smooth. Has the rare vintage Skunk Stripe and old original vintage neck plate! The frets are in excellent condition. No fret buzz whatsoever...Whoever buys this beauty will be VERY happy with her!
I will ship anywhere in the lower 48. Please feel free to write with any questions, I will do my best to answer them!
Have a great day!!!

| | | I should have known someone was going to ask that!
I just carried it into the bathroom and used my trusty scale (ok, it's my lady's, so I'm going to have to assume it's kinda accurate.)
It reads just a hair under 9 lbs. So I guess I'll say it's 9 lbs. |

| | | | I really appreciate the offer, but I just don't see anything among your great pieces that "grabs" me. Just me though...you've got some unique stuff. Again, thanks! |

| | Registered User | | | | | Who ever gets this - I have a custom tort pickguard I had made for my 1992 boner bass by Jeannie - looks cool on mymidnight blue, but I went back to the original white guard. All this is to say - that bass w/a tort guard would be AWESOME! Buyer feel free to shoot me a PM when this is over. |
