Great price! |

Great price! | I'm pretty sure it is a proline since it has the ash body.
Gotta love those brass nuts and wenge necks.

Regardless, a great bass at a great price. I already have an old corvette and I'm still tempted ha ha.

The guy I bought it from was living in Germany and actually bought it in Germany in Neukirchen. I really hate to do this, but I need a passive fretless first (I'm really gassing for Jaco bass for sale here on T.B.), and ultimately I want an older Thumb 5 string with the broad neck option. I really love the Warwick sound, it's has a very distinct flavor. It has always cut through the mix. Make me a reasonable offer!

I LOVE this Vette!!! Wenge, Ash, Barts,= Killer tone! | Oh thanks man, I have to sell since I need the funds to buy a bass here before it's gone. I hate selling it though but my 5 string Jazz bass gets the bulk of my playing. I got this back when I was back on the 4 string bus but the two bands I am currently in need 5 strings.

Though it maybe cool for my bass to live in Romania ( I'd rather go myself!) does no-one want to keep her in the States? Not really that enthused to deal with the hassle of international sales but will to get that sweet Jaco bass.

That didn't make me play any better but you can hear the Wick pretty well. This was back in 2006 when I started playing again. I am so ready to sell that I will forever embarrass myself! http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9394461 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9394462 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9394495
Sorry about the playing but you can hear the sound of the bass pretty well I think.
Thanks again,
Alvaro

SOMEBODY BUY THIS BASS!! It's a steal!! | Ah man thanks alot! In response to a couple of PMs, the bass weighs in at a sexy 8.6 lbs. Also, no neck dive whilst sitting: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...e/DSC04907.jpg

Before 1998 there were no Corvette standards, only prolines, and they came with chrome hardware, and all the ones I tried (back in the early 90's) at Dana B Goods had ash bodies.
It was only when the stardard line came about around '99, when the proline switched over to maple with gold hardware. |
