up for sale is an almost mint 1997 (as pointed out by jaymi) rickenbacker 4003 midnight blue with black hardware and bindings in almost mint i would give it a 9 to 9.5 condition very clean there is 2 little dings very little tried to get them in the pictures

these are very rare especially in this condition,


comes with ohsc that has a damaged corner, and opposite corner has a hard time closing, which I took pictures of both
i don't have the pick up cover or the little black piece for the selector switch which I am sure is easy to find and replace

Funny story, (at least to me). I had this same color bass I bought on Ebay about ten years ago. When it arrived, it was the most egregiously foul smelling bass and case ever. Inside was matted with fatal combination stench of animal matter and cigaratte smoke. After weeks of it being in the garage with a fan, careful washing and polishing the odor dissipated. What a great bass it was after that. Wish I hadn't sold it.
