!!!!!BASS IS SOLD!!!!!
hello this is my first add selling on here cause i figured if i bought it on here i should atleast sell it here! Any ways ive had this bass for less then a year and its been out of the house maybe 10 times. here are the specs from the warwick website:
Bass: Thumb NT 6 string Bass

Month: September
Neck Wood: 3 pcs. Wenge Wood with Bubinga Stripes
Fingerboard: Wenge Wood
Frets: Bronze Warwick Frets

Neck construction: NeckThrough Construction
Body: Bubinga Solid wood

Pickups: SD Basslines Soapbar
Electronic: MEC 3-Band electronics

17 mm string spacing
one thing the specs dont say is that the person who built the bass mustve had a great day, had an awesome breakfast and the woman/man said i do because this bass is special. theres something about it! i love this bass but its time for me to move on as GAS has hit me hard enough to loose sleep over. The bass is in mint condition except the pickups have some string rash that aint no thing. and now for some visuals (by the way these are from the previous owner):
it does have recessed strap locks which i will include and also the original hard shell case which is in perfect condition as well.
the tone of this bass is exactly how you would think. It has a monstrous low end (the epitome of the warwick growl) the high end is so smooth that finger stlye almost produces a fretless mwah. in fact heres some links to me playing the bass.
slapping,popping, grinding:
Goratory: 8 seconds of fury BASS - YouTube
Final Fantasy sounding arpeggio i made up:
final fantasy 7 bass sweep - YouTube
some double thumping:
double thump on a warwick thumb bass nt 6 - YouTube
just to clarify it is a righty. All those videos were run direct into my computer and the only equalization done was on the basses eq and just a little compression on garage band.
so id like to get $2100.00 (shipped! except for international well have to talk about that) which is less then what i payed and less then im going to post on craigslist. the Talkbass community has been very good to me with the basses ive bought from it so im giving it back. i can get more pictures if youd like just let me know. thank you very much and any questions just ask!
