OK, well our good friend GENSTORMBRINGER wisely told me one day, "We are not the Egyptians. If it's something you've always wanted, then get it. Enjoy it. We can't take it with us so do it now while you can." We were specifically talking about my apprehension about buying this bass with my life savings. I felt it was worth the risk, so I did it. I can now say that I have owned a Mark King Alembic !! It is just not for me, though. I have now owned an Epic, a Spoiler, a Stanley Clarke Signature Deluxe, and now a Mark King Signature Deluxe. It is time for another fellow to own this bass...
- 1996 Alembic Mark King Signature Deluxe

- 34" scale neck, 24 frets
- Front red LED's
- Cocobolo front & back, maple neck, purple heart stringers, ebony fretboard, all Alembic hardware, Signature electronics, D.I. out, vol/blend/Q switch x 2/Low Pass filter x 2
