I got this bass a few years ago as my main bass but I've moved on to my MIJ P-bass and now I have another on the way. This bass plays great and has a fantastic sound. I just love the neck of my P-bass more and this guitar usually just sits in the case now.
When I got it I replaced the electronics to CTS pots, orange drop cap, and US Fender Pickups from an American Standard Jazz. I also added the traditional jazz knobs and authentic fender 4 ply Tort pickguard.
The bass has very few marks on it or dings, no real signs of any bucklerash. The only thing with the finish is that on some parts like the arm contour and the on the back edge, the previous owner looks like he took some fine steel wool and matted the finish there. It's not scratched or anything but just matted down in those areas from fine steel wool. If you wanted to get rid of it all it would take is some polishing compound and BAM good as new. I left it like that because it didn't bother me. This bass is beautiful and has some nice figuring in the grain.
Bass is strung with Chromes and comes with Hardshell Case (Straplocks in pics not included)
No trades please. $325 Shipped
