1996 Modulus Quantum 5 Sweet Spot

Sign in to disble this ad
*** SOLD PENDING FUNDS ***

For sale is an excellent condition Modulus Q5SS. I am the original owner.

-- EMG pickup and electronics (EMG BTS with v/t/b controls).
-- Alder body with flame maple top and blue over red finish. Photos don't do it justice.
-- Currently strung with DR Nickle Lo-Riders.
-- Strap locks installed, though comes with original hardware.

This is a wonderful sounding and playing bass but is no longer needed.

Comes with OHSC which has done it's job over the years. 2 of the feet are busted in, somewhat warped and has some scrapes and bumps.

$1250 shipped (CONUS only). Thanks for looking!

I used to have the same color in a non-SS... you did a great job capturing that color! It's absolutely stunning in person.

GLWTS! It's a fantastic bass and a color you just don't see anymore.

Scale length?

String spacing, center to center, at nut and bridge?

Truss rod, or no truss rod?

Thank you!

I'll help with what I can...

35" scale
17mm spacing
No truss rod

I had a '97 Q6SS that was absolutely killer. Would still have it had it not been stolen. Good luck with the sale!

Chris,

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS MODULUS BASS. I played it live for the first time last night in Tulsa. Also, a veteran Modulus player with 30 years experience played it last night as well and LOVED it. He has a 1993 model Quantum 5 that has THOUSANDS of hours of play time and touring time. He really liked this Sweet Spot. Very impressed.

Thank you for such a professional and friendly transaction. The bass is in better shape than you indicated and I could not be happier. On my way to leave you monumentally positive feedback as we speak.

Again, my sincere thanks.
