1997 Fender American Deluxe Jazz bass V transparent red w/HSC

For sale is a late 90's Fender American Deluxe Jazz V. In the beautiful, hard to find transparent red finish. In general, these basses are relatively hard to find.

This bass is beautiful. I would give it an easy 9/10 and probably closer to 9.5/10 if you take into perspective the age. It may be one of the cleanest of its kind you'll find. Literally the only cosmetic issues are some scuffs on the ball of the headstock, a few very light worn scuffs on the edges/face, and one very shallow almost unnoticeable ding on the face. There is a small hole in between the B-E strings, perhaps it was a string tree hole at one point.

Right now it is set up well, has some very clean strings, and plays with absolutely no issue. Very smooth.

Includes hard case - a very good tolex case. If you don't want it, let me know. Looking for $1100 shipped. Will ship international without case for extra (varies according to location, neck removed from body). Always accepting offers. Also would consider trades OF ONLY THESE ITEMS - looking for a Ric 4001, special color Ric of any kind, Gibson Thunderbird (not sunburst or black), any old Fender amps or guitars (especially any blondeface amps). I don't want your TB misfits, no offense. Also would consider a Gibson Les Paul. Can meet up or deliver.

I need to know too! No response from Paypal payment or thread updates. Now I want to back out of the sale and get my money back. I'm hoping its just lack of communication and not a theft. Either way, I'm a little nervous. Hoping to hear soon but I've reported a problem to the moderator.

If you did PayPal you are protected. Request a refund. I'm always scared of something like this happening. For example, what if you bought a bass from me and before I shipped something bad happened? It just run through my mind sometimes before I can ship out the bass. My wife wouldn't know to ship it or any one else.

This is just weird and sloppy service. OP is online now and won't PM or update the thread!

I hope the OP is following through with his end of the deal!

This sort of post needs time zone info to be informative about who was doing what when.

Just sayin'.

Holy crap. 11 positive feedbacks on Talkbass and an Ebay account over 3000 apparently isn't enough to warrant patience.

Thread closed.
