1997 Warwick Corvette 6 String w/ Wenge neck priced to sell!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Selling my Warwick 1997 Corvette Standard 6 string. This has the coveted all Wenge neck, recessed strap locks and BassLines pickups as featured in the heyday of the German Warwick basses. As they all do, this bass has beautiful figuring on the ovangkol body and wenge neck. The bass is active with volume knob knob, pan knob and Treble/Bass stocked knob.

The bass is in excellent condition. Some very minor scratches, slight finish year where the thumb anchors the pickups as shown, and one pencil dot sized ding on the body as pictured, all imperceptable to the naked eye. There is one ding in the headstock as pictured and some slight seaming at the rear tip of the headstock as pictured which I believe is very stable and simply a function of the pourus nature of wenge as I have seen this before on several other warwicks.

The neck, wenge fingerboard and brass frets are all in pristine condition as shown. This bass is a beauty and a real monster as far as tone goes replete with that classic wenge Warwick GROWL!

I am pricing this one to go at $SOLD!!! shipped conus. I don't have a case but will back bombproof as I always do.

Since I believe I am selling this for what I believe to be an under-market price, no trades at this time.

Please PM with any questions. Pics below, thanks for looking!

Corvette vs Thumb

.
.
I know for sure that the Warwick thumbs with the Bubinga or Ovangkol bodies + Wenge necks have a really amazing sound. Super nasty...in the best way!

I have been digging the sound of the 90s Thumb bolt-ons. This Corvette should have a similar sound, shouldn't it?

Please forgive my newbie Warwick question.
