Hi folks, I’d like to get this thing moving to someone new because something’s come up that I want and the window of opportunity may be short.
This is a wenge neck Warwick Streamer Stage II. It’s a beautiful looking 15 year old Warwick with a great broken in feel. Currently its set up with low action with practically zero neck relief. There are a few minor bumps here and there, and the hardware finish has started to dull a bit, but nothing bad. The most significant are along the bottom where the input jack is located. The electronics are the stock MEC gold JJ pickups with the three band 18V MEC preamp. The tone is 100% pure top of the line Warwick.
Its not a light bass, but its not a backbreaker either. A big part of the tone of these is the dense hardwoods. I'm gonna estimate 9.5-10lbs. but I don't have a scale anymore. If you're looking for an 8 lb bass, probably best not to buy this.
Here’s the caveat for the potential buyer. The truss rod is near the end of its adjustability. I have probably another half turn before it maxes out. The good news is it sets up dead flat with .105-.045 D’addario prosteels. I’ve owned the bass for about 6 months now, and the only reason I discovered the truss rod being close to maxed out was because I put some heavier gauge nickel rounds on it and wanted to adjust the rod to account for the higher tension. There are a couple of potential fixes (metal washers under the nut, etc…) this however is not a user removable truss rod like some older warwicks. If you think you’ll need to change the truss rod out, it would definitely be a professional job.
These basses have typically sold in the 1800-2100 range in the past. I’m adjust the price down to account for what may or may not be an issue for the new owner.
Get it now for $1599 shipped and insured. Yes, Paypal is fine. But I wouldn’t be disappointed if you elected to pay in a non fee method. International buyers with a history of transactions and positive feedback will be okay, but please know that I can't pay for all of the shipping. Anything over $50 would have to be added to the price of the bass.

The bass will ship with the original Warwick HSC.
