| 1998 MIM Squier Precision Bass
These are kind of unicorns in the world of Fender. This is a Mexican-made, Squier labeled Precision bass. Everything about it is typical MIM build and style, and it feels a lot like the black label MIM Fenders from the early nineties. It's under 9 pounds from what I can tell and it sounds nice and classic. For its age it's got almost no wear except for a slight bit on the treble side of the back of the neck before the 5th fret. I tried it on for size and liked it, but I'm on the search for a Precision that's better suited to me.
