I applied seven layers of Pettit's marine epoxy, which is the stuff Jaco used. There is some wear on the epoxy, but there are still plenty of layers left. $550 obo

Epoxy coating is really a necessity for the true Jaco tone. The bright top end makes the lyrical tones sing much more as well as provide a lot more bite for aggressive playing.
