I have for sale a 1999 Fender American Standard Precision. The body is ash in a translucent white finish. Maple neck and fretboard. It is in immaculate condition. There is not a ding,dent or scratch on the headstock,neck or body. The previous owner replaced the white pick guard with the black one pictured. It has swirl marks. The original white pick guard is included in the sale. The bass had flats on most of it's life,was obviously rarely played and the frets are in excellent shape. I bought the bass to try out a P with an ash /maple combo thinking it would be similar in tone and playability to a Stingray which is what I usually play. Well this bass plays great and has a fat round bottom yet plenty of punch. Sounded great finger or slap style. I just like the Stingray neck better. Comes with the original contoured hardshell case pictured. The latches and everything work fine . I don't know what else to say it's just like one of those basses that was played very little and lived in a closet or under a bed I guess.
