Here is a neck from a 1999 Standard Squier by Fender. It feels AWESOME like a MIJ profile. It's made in China. The neck also has a Fender logo on it already !!
Body is a purple in the light, black inside jazz bass body by Mighty Mite, would be my guess. Weighs about 9.5 lbs, so it's probably alder or ash .
PUPs are new Fender jazz bass PUPs. KILLER GROWL and crisp highs, warm roundness overall with the treble rolled off a bit.
Allparts 250k pots, .047 chicklet caps, Fender vintage jazz bass knobs with center screw on two of the knobs. The other is push on.
This bass has super low action, LOTS of Geddy GROWL, and just has cool mojo...
This bass has the EXACT tone as the bass on Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World"
