1999 USA Fender Jazz fretless conversion priced to sell

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got this bass in trade, and I don't play fretless enough to justify keeping it. Nice bass though ... its a professionally defretted fender jazz that also has had its pickups swapped for what appears to be the fender vintage reissue set (thus the added grounding strip by the bridge and the beveled polepieces). The bass sounds great and plays quite nicely. The nut slots are a tad high for my taste, but that is a cheap adjustment at your local shop if you want it lower.

Was listed at $750+ship, I'll do $625 shipped (to the lower 48) to move it quickly.

buyer backed out, so this is back on the block.

Trades are possible, I could use a fretted 4 string for down tuning and playing with a pick.

Bump! I own it's fretted twin.

The color is Aqua Marine Metallic.

I ordered mine into a store, direct from Fender. This is the first time I've seen the color on another bass. My assumption is, it is rare.

If I had the $, I'd be on it.

Good Luck,
God Bless, Ray

I'd prefer to sell, but I could look at fretted basses, 4 and 5 string, or a Mark Bass LMII or Alembic F1-X.
