2 DAY - BOTH OR NOTHING SALE - LAKIES

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a lead on a REALLY nice bass which is being held for me until the weekend.

In order to REMOTELY afford it I need to unload a few things.....

For sale (maybe) are:

Woody (LALKLAND SKYLINE JO5):

which is one of my LIGHTEST bass (at 9 lbs 3 oz) and is a fantastic sounding bass!

If you like a straight J you cannot get any better than this J!

And...drum roll please (oh this is painful!):

My beloved Glaub P/J:

This is a 2002 in (very deep and sparkly) CAR and even Carl (lead Lakland Luthier) says that it feels and plays like a US Glaub

if you want a GREAT sounding P - this is it!!!

I have to sell BOTH by Friday or the other bass goes bye bye...

FAIR WARNING: I have to sell BOTH or there will be no sale at all.....(sorry....)

Woody: $1075 shipped CONUS with HSC
Glaub P/J: $ 875 shipped CONUS with HSC

Both for $1850 shipped CONUS

I like how the J is closer to the P than the bridge, I bet that helps the tone out a lot. Good luck with this and hope to hear what the deal is if you score it!

I can personally attest to the incredible sound and playability of the JoBo5. It is a smokin' bass, and Doug is as good as it gets in a TB'er. Great deal...

Such drama! I for one will be tuning in again. When will the mystery bass be revealed?

HOW did you guess!????

actually, here are the specs:

US Lakland Dbl J (55-94 body with 2 passive J pickups)
Trans Butterscotch finish
Birds Eye Maple neck
light as heck
sounds sweet and plays sweeter!

This will give you an idea of the color:

BUT - it will only be available to me for the next day or so.

I have had enough interest in both basses and I THINK I have been able to convince the seller to wait he weekend....so - Sunday is the ABSOLUTE deadline...

I would like to thank all of those TBers who expressed interest in these fantastic basses!

Unfortunately, I am pulling them off the market. As stated in the original post, BOTH basses had to sell in order for me to remotely pay for what I was going to get....and today was the deadline set by the person I was going to buy the bass from.

It does not appear that will happen today so I am closing the thread and keeping the basses....

thanks again!!!
