2 great Laklands, take your pick!

OK guys, received these in a trade and one needs to go now, while the other one will go when my LOG bass gets here in 5-6 weeks...

First up is a 55-01 Deluxe. These don't turn up too often anymore. It plays and sounds great, and comes with a Lakland HSC. From 3 feet away it's beautiful, but it has definitely been a player- has the expected plucking area scratches/hazing, and the headstock has some nickage (all cosmetic, nothing bad at all). 9.5 pounds. $560 shipped obo.

Next is an absolutely killer bass. This one has made me think that I could possibly make it on only four strings...
This is basically the sunburst Duck Dunn a lot of you were asking for. DD bound and blocked J width neck with headstock professionally refinished by Marty Bell on a Glaub body with Fralin PU. Has D-Tuner installed, comes with black guard as well as a white pickguard, and a Lakland HSC. 7.5 pounds. $850 SOLD!!!

If you can wait until after my last show of the year (12/11) it can be yours! LOL. I just panic at the thought of not having a backup at a paying gig.

This guy popped in another thread, seller checked his info and it showed up to be pretty shady. Just a heads up.

I don't think it is a scam. I think Carlos is just another foreign TBer that has a friend with a US address, buys the basses here, gets them down to their country somehow, and sells them there for a profit. There are others here, like Stan (dostavkausa) and Ivan (ItsNotMeTalking), with lots of good feedback. Does not sound like a scam, he's going for reasonable priced basses, and he's offering to wait until blondmix3 gets his LOG bass. I think he's legit and just starting his business.

It is so nice, funkboy....just got a new 55-01 in sunburst with an ebony fretless lined fretboard...really nice neck. Fairly wide string spacing for a big fiver. I top loaded mine with Daddario chrome flats and it has quite a tone....

An excellent price, too!

You aren't gonna see another one of these soon at this price.

In Boston, Laklands have been really hard to get new. Mr. Music in Allston just started and I got their first one.

A very different bass than my Warwick fretted 5 string Corvette $$, but like my children, I love 'em both.

This is funny, the guy who's vouching for the buyer has been here exactly 2 days longer!

Neither one provides a shred of info in their profiles either.
They could both be 100% legit, but I know I'D sure be hesitant.
