Here is a sweet active electronics player used in my country western band. She is a player with swirls and rash on the back, but she has upgraded high mass string thru bridge. Please excuse cell phone pics, as granddaughter using my camera for school. can send more pics if interested. Have to admit "B" string is more resonant strung thru the bridge, than the body, but is you insist string thru body, taper-cores are best. If anyone is interested, I can send more detail pics.
