This is a 2000 GIBSON Nikki Sixx BlackBird not the Epiphone
You know what they are, you either love them or hate them...
Basically, a Thunderbird body style with 2 passive Gibson humbucking pickups, an on/off toggle switch, "opti-grab" handle, clear "Blackbird" logo, iron cross inlays.....pretty much bare-bones Thunderbird designed by Nikki.
The bass is in good shape with NO BREAKS. It's been gigged and shows it. Plenty of scratches on the body etc.,...The finish is flat black so when it gets beat up,...you can't tell.
The main finish issue is the orginal owner lef it sitting in a hercules stand that grabs the neck at the head stock and has a support in the middle of the back of the body. Well it must have sit in the stand for a while because it reacted with the paint and caused the paint to get a bit goofey.
Other than cosmetics,...it plays and sounds great.
Bass comes with original Blackbird case which is a case, it has some bumps and nicks in the tolex but still structurally sound, trussrod adjustment tool and I'm pretty sure the warianty card is in there also.
