I am the original owner of this bass, bought it locally back in 2001. I used it as my main bass for about two years, and have had it in storage ever since. I replaced the Japanese pots (noisy) with American ones and also installed black Dunlop straplocks (included). I also replaced the control knobs with better flat-top ones. I can include the original pots, knobs and strap buttons for collectible purists out there. It didn't come with a case originally, but I can include a used Fender tweed case for an extra $50.
Neck is perfect, frets show little if any wear. There is a small dent on the front near the pickguard and a nick on the back not visible when playing (basswood body, these ding easily!). I can send pictures of these, PM me with your email address so I can forward.
Not looking for any trades, sorry. Price? I've seen these go for $1500 on Ebay, I doubt if I'd get that during these tough economic times (that's why I'm selling it BTW). I'm asking $1000 or best offer plus shipping. Willing to ship to CONUSA only, Paypal accepted.
