2002 Fender USA FSR 75RI Jazz Bass- Candy Apple Red- Matching Headstock- 1 of 250

SOLD!

Price Drop 10/29/11

Hi-

I have way too many basses, so I'm going to sell acouple of the nicest ones. This is an all-original Jazz bass that was made in a very small run (250) and destined for europe. It is quite lovely, with a block-and-bound rosewood fingerboard and matching CAR headstock. It has the micro-tilt 3-bolt neck attachment, bullet adjustment, and 70's pickup spacing. The neck plate has number 00155 on it.

The condition is excellent. The only flaws I can find are some finger/pick marks on the parchment PG and some corrosion on the pole pieces of the PUs. Thre are no scratches or dings that I see. The frets are excellent. This is a collector-quality bass in both condition and rarity.

It comes with the original Tolex G&G case. The case exterior shows some wear, but is in overall very good condition.

The price is $1400 $1350 including shipping in the continental US. I prefer a no-fee transaction of some sort on this one. I felt kind of ripped off by Paypal on the last big-ticket item I sold. PM if you have any questions regarding payment. I'm sure we can work something out. Check out my feedback. The bass will be boxed carefully and shipped quickly, fully insured.

Model Name: Fender FSR '75 Jazz Bass
Model Number: 017-4300-(809)

Pickguard: 3-Ply White (I think it's closer to parchment)
Pickups: 2 Vintage Jazz Bass Single-Coil Pickups
Controls: Volume 1. (Neck Pickup), Volume 2. (Bridge Pickup), Master Tone
Colors: (809) Candy Apple Red
Unique Features: Matching Painted Headstock,

3-Bolt Neck Plate with Tilt Adjustment Feature
Source: CORONA (US)
Accessories: Black Tolex Case
U.S. MSRP: $2,199.99

I find the CAR color difficult to capture in photos, but check them out below. It's a lovely bass and deserves a better home than in my closet full of lesser basses. PM or post any questions.

This is the best deal of the year. I have had three of these basses.... I have not owned a better Fender Jazz.... If I had the extra scratch I would have snagged this. Someone is gonna get a great deal.

Just so you know...thee were a Fender Special Run after September 11th. Nothing says September 11th on them but they were made in Red White and Blue during that magical wave of Patriotism after Sep 11th. Might not make it more special to you....but it sure does to me. Very classy and well done bass.
