2002 Lakland 55-01 with 4 band Audere Pre-Amp

FS / FT is an AWESOME 2002 Lakland 55-01 with the pre-amp upgraded to an Audere 4-band, and the stock Bartolini MK1's. This pre-amp makes the Barts come to life. The tonal range is simply incredible, and the 2002 Lakland necks are comparable to the US necks. I continue to try to play 5 strings and my feeble brain just cant handle it. This instrument needs to be played by someone who will do it justice.
The tort pickguard is a great accent and the cheater bars really are a great idea for thumb-rests everywhere you might want/need one.
The bass will ship in a chipboard case, then packed to the hilt to protect against the UPS gorillas.

that pic makes it look like there is a thumb rest across the top of both pickups? Is it really there or am I going slightly mad?

There is, and it makes for a very comfortable playing position since you can rest your thumb virtually anywhere...
