A really nice looking Musicman Sterling bass. With the exception of 4 obvious finish "schmucks" it's in VG condtion.
One bad ding is located on the edge of the lower cut-away. "Thanks guitard buddy!" (He's dead now!) (joking) It has been touched up with the best that could be found sparkle lacquer.
Two marks are seen next to the right and left corners of the bridge where a former owner (not me) mounted a midi pickup. The holes were plugged touched up.
Finally, there is nick on the edge of the headstock above the E tuner. Not too bad.
There are a few other very slight dings that don't break the finish to found here and there but only a few.
Overall, this is a very, very, very nice "player's bass". If not for the 4 noticable marks, I'd rate the bass at 90% but otherwise about 80%.
Neck and electronics are perfect!
Original Musicman case in VG condition.
The Sterling is the "Jazz Bass" of the Stingray line. 1 and 1/2" nut vs the Stingray's 1 3/4". The Sterling has 3 pickup options. Parallel, single coil and series. Also has one extra fret, 22.
Bass weighs around 9 lbs 2 oz (more or less). It's an ash body.
Frets are about 95%. Good to go. More photos upon request
