"The USA SB-2 is from 2004. Beautiful Transparent Butterscoth Blonde over Ash, Tort pickguard, Gun Oil Tint (GOT) neck with Rosewood fretboard. Has been modified so the controls are V/T + V/T, each controlling the individual P or J pickups. Exceptional quartersawn neck with nice grain. 9.8 lbs on the digital bathroom scale. Typical hazing on the pickguard, but no dings, gouges, excessive wear or smoke."
that description still holds true. the only marks on the bass anywhere are on the pickguard (light scratching/swirling). the finish, fingerboard, frets, etc...all look brand new. the neck is Jazz width (1.5") and plays like butter. currently strung with a set of old flatwounds. comes with a like new G&L Deluxe Gig bag and C.o.A. signed by Mrs. Fender.
