2005 Lakland Skyline JO4 - Slightly Modded
 

This is just a feeler at the moment but I have found another bass that I'm interested in so if I can move this one I just might.

What I am offering is a 2005 Lakland Skyline JO4 finished in a very nice three tone sunburst with a tort guard. The pickups are stock fralins.

I had the neck, fingerboard and headstock completely refinished in vintage tinted high gloss poly by Pat Wilkins. The headstock now sports a US Lakland Decal. Pat said he wasn't able to get the original Skyline decals. I also changed out the tuners and put on a set of US made Hipshot Ultralights.

It's your standard 34" scale with 19mm spacing and a 1.5" nut. It weighs exactly 8 pounds, 9.6 ounces on my digital scale. Nice and lightweight!

The bass, looks, sounds and plays great. Very low action and no issues of any kind. If I weren't suffering from a minor case of GAS I would not be listing it!

$1,095.00 shipped and insured in the CONUS. It will ship in a nice hard shell case.

Considering it's condition as well as what I spent on the neck and tuners I think this is a pretty fair price. If you don't, just PM me an offer. The worse that can happen is that I say no thanks!

I will also consider trades but I'm pretty picky. Top of my list right now would be a 34" unlined fretless 5 with a graphite neck.

Thanks for the good word guys! This is a really great bass. I'm just gassing for something a little more "high end" that's up for grabs right now. Once it's gone I'll likely just pull this down and keep it.
