PRICE REDUCTION - 2006 EBMM Bongo 5

LOWERING PRICE...bring me offers!

I will entertain trades but am mostly interested in cash...and am pricing it to move. If trades are to be considered, I'm looking at 5 string Stingrays or a 5 String Boulder Creek ABG. Really, though, I'm looking for cash.

There are a couple of notable flaws (aside from the standard headstock scuffage)...none affect playability. First, the volume knob seems to be installed crooked (maybe bent). You notice it when you twist knob. It turns easily and without any problem... but it is crooked. Also, common as these pickups age, there is some minor rust developing. It does not affect the sound, though. I try to capture this in the pics. Finally, there are a couple of screws holding the pick guard on that are missing. Also, you will need to restring it...it has flats on it now - the way I got it...seems like this beast ought to have rounds on it. It weighs 9.5 on the Richter (er, bathroom) scale.

I think this is a good score for someone looking for the versatility of the bongo. I see what people like about it...but I'm really looking for the simple scooped tone of the Stingray.

I am looking for $900 $825 shipped CONUS...and I'll do it for $850 $800 if local in Austin, TX.

Thank you, sir. Just a note...I have pushed up a couple of files showing the wear on the headstock and some screws on the pickups (just follow link at top of posting). The screws are solid...for some reason, the pics are showing them like they are rusted. They aren't...they are not super-clean and I think there's a little glow from my lackluster photography.

PMs have been answered...

Travis
