2006 Limited Edition Warwick Dirty Blonde 4

I have a Ltd Ed Warwick Dirty Blonde four string for sale. She is near mint with one tiny ding and a tiny fingernail mark, other than that, it's great. Here's the Specs

Body swamp ash and burled poplar top
Neck five piece maple, ebony finger board, matching headstock laminate
Electronics p and dual j or TJ pickups and three band MEC
Gull inlays on neck.....very attractive

This bass grinds, growls and snaps! In other words it can do slap, funk, old Motown, classic rock etc. This bass sounds a little different from your standard thumb due to the electronics and pickup package. It is also significantly lighter than any other Warwick I have ever owned!!! 8 ish pounds?

This bass comes with a gigbag is great shape also.

Priced at $1350 shipped and insured east coast and $1375 west coast......shipping is near $100 to Cali from Va.

Thanks for looking!

Trade bait
Would trade towards Sadowsky metro+.cash from me

YES! It's the only reason I sold the dirty blonde 4 I used to have. It was my main axe for a couple years! GLWS!

Thanks for all the kind works, she has a great neck. I have been asked via PM about the profile. It has a 1.5 nut nad is NOT a baseball bat neck......the neck is straight and the action is med/low and could easily go lower.

Is this thing technically a Thumb or is it closer to a Corvette? Sitting by the Corvette you can tell it's different but it doesn't look like quite like a Thumb to me, maybe I am wrong.

It's totally a thumb........from the curved or concave back of the bass to the incredible slap tone..........I assure you.........look at my group shot. The red bass is a custom corvette and has a flat back, no curve........the thumb is a smaller body, shorter top horn and curved back..........you can find pictures and more description on www.warwick.de under models: LTD

The color of the body will throw you a little when you first look at it, as we are so used to seeing thumbs as more plain, dark brown bodies.........hope this helps. It truly is an excellent bass, my blue Streamer just constantly gets first draft on all gigs........she's familiar! :-)

Ok, then I am just crazy today haha. How does the P deluxe style pickups compare to the regular Thumbs? I love the bird inlays. Also, what markbass are you playing it through? Thats what I use, see sig, and I have not yet had the pleasure to play a warwick through my head.
