2006 Music Man Bongo 4HH *PRICE DROP* $900 shipped

I'm offering my 2006 Bongo 4 HH up for sale. For full disclosure, the bass has a small ding in the tip of the headstock that doesn't go through the paint and a small "rub" on the edge of the headstock, and a small impression in the clearcoat, about pinhead-size, NEAR the belly contour. There is also a tiny, tiny "ping" on the top of the lower horn; neither of these are visible from straight on. There also appears to be a tiny piece of lint under the finish in that area as well. Only other wear is some nail scratches on the pickguard. None of these "flaws" are visible from a foot away. Frets are in excellent shape. Overall, the bass in excellent condition for having been played almost daily for nearly 1 year.

The bass is finished in Radiance Red, which was a $100 upcharge when I bought the bass. I received it in March of 2006. Will clean and set up before shipment. This bass has the lowest action of any bass I've played, and feels great. The tone is everything you'd expect from a Bongo.

Comes with Music Man hardshell case and Schaller straplocks.

$900 Shipped!

Certified check preferred, but I'll also do Paypal, if buyer takes responsibility for any fees.

Thanks for looking!

Is that your house in the first few photos? A Church/Synogauge/Mosque/Monastery maybe? It's quite nice looking.
Bass ain't bad either...I would love to own a Bongo sometime, I just don't have much money now.

It's my college dorm lobby. I took those pics at midnight-they actually turned out pretty well. It's been overcast these past few days so photography's been kind of tough.

Thanks for the bump.

Will also consider trades for a Fender Roscoe Beck 4-banger.

Bump.

This is an unusual color that looks great under stage lights due to the gold metalflake in the paint-it really "pops."

Had a few bites, but nothing serious yet...you know you want it!

Dat red bongo

Just to let you know,

I'll be going to the NAMM show on Saturday, and I'm going to check out all the different models at the EBMM booth. So if the Bongo wins out and the bass isn't gone by then, you'll hear from me then...
