Superb build quality on these US Hamers, you don't see too many Monacos on the used market for good reason. All passive with Seymour Duncan PhatCat single coils and V/V/T controls, chambered one-piece mahogany body to lighten the load (9 lbs.) and a flashy bound n' carved flamed maple top. 1 1/2" nut width with a round-ish "C" profile set neck, a very comfy grab. A patch of worming on the back, nothing through the finish and nothing that anything besides your business will ever see anyway. Very minor swirling up front, just a light bit of honest playwear on a very playable bass. No dings, chips, gouges or high fructose corn syrup. Includes the original Hamer fitted HSC in excellent shape, all latches work and keys included. $1300 includes shipping and full insurance, CONUS. |
