.......SOLD.......
I'm going to give the short story of the bass: I bought it because I absolutely love Warwicks, but I'm selling it because I hate playing 4-string.
The slightly longer version: this bass popped up for sale locally, and after playing & hearing it, I fell in love. I'm somewhat of a Warwick fanatic, and thought that my love of Warwick could overpower my need for a low B. Apparently I was wrong. I've been playing 5-string for a long time now, and I just can't do without my low B. Try as I might, I just can't go back to 4-string basses any more.
I'm primarily looking for a sale, but I may trade for a 5-string Thumb, EBMM, or similar narrow-ish spacing 5-string bass of
comparable value, fretted or fretless. I'm not looking to come out of pocket on my end, so if your bass is more valuable than this, please don't ask for money from me.
Conversely, if you have a trade that isn't quite the same value, I'd be happy to take the imbalance in cash. I'm not looking to downgrade too much, though.
Now on to the details about the bass. Its in very good condition, but it has been played. There are some very minor blemishes that are so insignificant that they can't be photographed. There aren't many, but in the interest of full disclosure, I feel it should be mentioned. The only blemishes that were able to be captured in photos are shown below (two headstock dings). The pickups have a little bit of finger wear, which is also pictured.
What is NOT pictured is the original owner's manual and all relevant original paperwork. The only things missing that would make this a complete package are the truss rod tool (can't find it) and the original Warwick gig bag. However, I do have an SKB HSC for the bass, which will be included with the sale.
