2008 Fender 70s Jazz Reissue

Sign in to disble this ad
Beautiful MIM 70s Jazz reissue. I bought this on a whim, I didn't need another jazz but I was smitten by the looks and tone of this one. Hard to believe these are MIM, the workmanship/fit and finish in excellent. The 70s pickup placement really does make a difference. Compared to my MIA Jazz it's got a bit more edge and zing to it. Bass is in excellent condition with only 1 small ding on the edge which is hard to notice. It's got a set of new strings 45-105 and comes with a nice hardshell case. Weighs 9.4lbs.

Sale price is $599 + actual shipping SOLD!

Will post pics later but it's sunburst/rosewood with pearl blocks and white binding.

OK, took this one at work. In person it's more of a nice brown sunburst than the orange that Fender is putting out on the MIAs. Better pics this weekend...

Sorry, not manly enough to rock a pink bass.

I have this bass and it is a hands-down top-notch Jazz bass. I've had six others, including 3 MIAs, and this is the best. The pickups really cut through, the neck is perfect, and the weight is easy to deal with. Free bump for a great bass.
