This ships as a black bass with rosewood board and white PG.
OK... how many times have you heard someone say "this is the best sounding bass I have ever heard... but I am selling it"?
In any case, This bass is BY FAR the best P I have ever owned (and I have owned over a dozen). I am selling it because a) it has way more output than my 1973 Jazz or 1974 P and EQ-ing is a P.I.T.A. on gigs.... and b) I am slowly migrating my bass collection to all things fretless.
So here is what you get...
- 2008 American Standard P with a few very small dings and a bit of swirling. Great shape, but I will post all of the little blemishes tomorrow
- Nordy P PU (installed prefessionally... ok. by me, but I know what I am doing!
) In any case, it KILLS the Fender pickup IMO
- Original MIA Fender pickup (so it can be reverted back to 100% original if required)
- Original white pick guard (installed)
- aftermarket black PG (single ply... looks amazing on this bass)
- Crazy tank-like new style Fender hard case
- All (likely all, but maybe just most) of the original case candy
In any case, this bass is amazing and I will accept a return if the buyer doesn't agree that it is as good as I articulated above.
