Well, I really wanted to fall in love with this beauty, but it just didnt happen. I sat through a 4 hour rehearsal Saturday and completely re-created my Glaub (PBass) sound. This instrument is way too great to be wasted on me. It needs to be appreciated by a Jazz Bass type player and I just need to get another Glaub.
The JOCS has an incredible range of sound with the stacked controls, and this one has 2 spare pickguards with it in 2 shades of blue/white-marble looking colors. The classic white/cream case has some scuffs, but I believe will clean right up with a little effort. Know that the tuners are reverse, I kinda freaked when I went to tune up and it went loose...AND it has a drop tuner installed and the original in the case.
What else can I say about this one... it is simple stunning
I am asking $1925... (a little help with shipping would be nice). That is a steal since plain ole 'regular' US JO's are going for 2000 without the nice case, much less the ChiSonics...
Trades including US or Skyline Glaubs are greatly of interest... just MUST have a Maple neck.
